Don holds a Bachelors degree in marine engineering, a Masters degree in materials engineering and an MBA and has over 30 years of experience in product design and development, project management, manufacturing system design and development, and operations management. Don has spent he majority of his career in marine engineering and construction equipment but, since 1998, has concentrated on marine. Over a period of 20 years, Don held senior management roles with Komatsu UK, Thales Underwater Systems and Sercel Australia before becoming a shareholder and director of Phoenix Engineering Systems in 2007.
